For more than 25 years, I have always been very passionate and apart of the travel industry. It always amused me that whenever I would meet someone socially, and whenever I mentioned what we did for a living, the conversation would almost always lead to “travel”. Often, the person would want to share their experiences and ask questions about future trips they are planning. Time and time again, I would witness the life and excitement that this single topic would bring to so many people. Something about travel triggers good feelings for so many people.
Not only is it important for everyone to break-free from the routines and stresses of everyday life, it is an essential part of living a healthy life. Vacations are rejuvenating and will recharge anyone’s batteries. Experts agree that taking a break and getting away from everyday stresses, is necessary to make our everyday work more productive. Studies have shown that when an individual returns from a vacation getaway, they are able to focus and accomplish more than compared to a person that has not taken a break.
