In this podcast, we talk to Menachem Kniespeck who is co-founder of Operation: Kid Equip and Lisa Meloche, President and Massage Therapist of Bodywork Alternatives.

During the show, Voices of Detroit brings the two together in what might be the start of another great non-profit organization benefitting everyone!

Menachem Michael Kniespeck

Menachem has had a lifelong career in finance and accounting, ranging
from his work with charity organizations to publicly traded
corporations. He has been involved in nonprofit management for 16
years, currently holding board and advisory roles for a number of
philanthropic organizations.


In addition to his role as co-founder of Operation: Kid Equip,
Menachem currently serves as Chief Financial Officer for Kids Kicking
Cancer, a national nonprofit program whose mission is to ease the pain
of very sick children while empowering them to heal physically,
spiritually and emotionally.

Lisa Meloche

Lisa Meloche, President and Massage Therapist, Bodywork Alternatives Massage Therapy studied massage therapy at Michigan Institute of Myomassology in 1995.  She was drawn to massage therapy for her own chronic pain which was eventually diagnosed as Fibromyalgia.

    Hey I love the concept of this site. I could see it going semi national, with voices of Cincinatti/ Cleveland/ Milwaukee/ Chicago ... ect. you should get your pattens or whatever quick. Yea Detroit totally need revitialization, it needs to shake that robocop image most people have of it.
